Dr. Jesse A Newman, MD

I made an appointment to see about medical marijuana and ensured my insurance was accepted. I was going because I want to get off of klonopin and take something that doesn't have addictive qualities. After I arrived, which i was horrible nervous about, I was talked down to by the 2 female staff workers and was told that although he accepts my insurance, he doesn't accept Medicaid for medical marijuana. They were condescending and I'm sure my appearance had something to do with it. I just dont understand why the doctor only accepts private insurance for medical marijuana. I'm still shaking from how the situation was handled and how I was talked to. The staff here needs to learn not to judge and be kind to those that look different.

I was looking for a new primary care physician, when a family member suggested Dr. Jesse Newman. I have had 2 office visits, since March, 2019. Dr. Newman is attentive, and focused. I feel he has truly listened to me and was able to help me with each problem I have addressed with him. I think he's a very caring individual, and an excellent doctor, The office staff is also very polite and kind. Overall, I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Newman takes the time to get to know his patients and does not rush you in and out. He is our family PCP and we are lucky to have him as our doctor. Dr. Newman is extremely knowledgeable & takes the time to explain options to you while working with you on your medical care. He is very pleasant and polite, and talks To you and not At you as other physicians may do. This allows you to maintain a high level of confidence & proves that he truly cares about his patients.

Recent series of minor issues of aging. Dr Newman was through, reassuring, affable and spot-on knowledgeable.
