Did myself a disfavor by getting my eye examination and prescription for eye glasses. Upon receipt of my glasses prescription wasn't working for me (image was distorted and warped). It was my second prescription that I have made overall. So the specialist recommended that I visit doctors office second time to redo it. First one was different (didn't have cylinder in it for stigmatism). Once I called to set my second examination (with Dr. Pelettier) I was notified that the original first prescription has expired (by time) so it would be a whole new one. Upon me explaining the sequence of the event and my issue staff member didn't show no compassion for my issue and didn't allow me to speak with the doctor. I decided to come in and try to speak with doctor in person and found out that unless I pay for the visit and eye examination upfront I can't talk to him whatsoever. Highly upset with level of customer service. Unprofessional. And only care about you pay first and ask questions later.… Had to leave with sour taste and seek alternative assistance. Won't recommend. Definitely my first and last visit to this office.

He talks too fast and too much and seems unable to listen. I went to a different doctor and my problem was resolved in 3 visits.

Dr. Pelletier was the on call Doc, I am so impressed with his services, I called to express my concern regarding my medical condition, he actually came to his office on Sunday to take care of me. He knew exactly with my problem was. He has definitely gained a patient.

I started seeing Dr. Pelletier after my former ophthalmologist retired. I received the best examinations of my long lifetime from his staff and himself. I am honored to recommend him to everyone. and

I was referred to Dr. Pelletier and took a chance; I needed to have my cataract removed and needed to see clearly again. the initial office visits were professional, relaxing, and very soothing. My situation and the options available were professionally explained to me. Any questions I had were answered; each assistant, from check-in desk to examiner to Dr. Pelletiere graciously me and put to rest any trepidations I may have had. I was told in detail preparations for my eye surgery and what to expect. When I went for surgery at N. Miami Beach Surgical, again I was treated with courtesy. the office was full ( a good sign!), but I was appropriately served at my scheduled appointment time! The pre-surgery nurses were wonderful, offering warm and toasty blankets to warm my cold hands! The surroundings were clean and comfortable. Surgery was done in a few minutes, or so it seemed. I was awake, listened to really upbeat music, heard the young doctors talking (which was nice),… and was done within what seemed like a few minutes! I learned later the cataract surgery was really only about 10 - 15 minutes! Wheeled into recovery, I sat in a chair, was given tea and cookies, and waited only about 10 minutes until I was cleared to go, equipped with post-surgery instructions. I felt NO pain, prior, during, or after surgery! It was easy and professionally done by Dr. Pelletiere and his young associates! I have nothing but compliments for the entire staff! the next day, I visited the office to have the patch removed, and I was able to SEE clearly! Thank you so much, Dr. Pelletiere and staff! II returned again one week later for a check-up and was seeing more and more clearly! I was treated once again with the utmost care and professionalism experienced earlier. So I want to thank Dr. Pelletiere and his staff for a very positive experience for my eye surgery. I can only hope one day all surgeries will be so easily rendered and so successful. The future is here! You have my highest recommendation! I thank you!

I went to the New York Ear and Eye Infirmary about six years ago, with a piece of steel in my cornea. It had been in there about 5 days, because I was so nervous about having it removed. Dr. Pelletier was assigned to me, and he could not have been any more comforting and compassionate. I was literally scared to tears, and there alone, and he was very calming. He honestly made what I thought would be a hideous experience more pleasant than a dental cleaning. Thanks, Dr. Pelletier, I will never forget that day and your kindness!!

He is the most organized doctor with a terrific and kind staff of technicians and others. always explains and spends plenty of time with me.

Dr. Pelletier performed a DSEAK surgery on me with success, although a previous surgery by a well known corneal specialist was a total disaster. I can't say enough about his proficiency, as well as that of his office and support staff. I would highly recommend him.
