I went in to see Slimeking for the 3rd or 4th time and told him that my major depression had been worse over the last month and a half and I was wondering if we needed to change anything about my medication. I also explained that I have a hard time picking up my pills every month and I wanted to switch from a month supply to a three month supply like the one my gf had so I would be less likely to go days without my antidepressants, as I had been doing so between months when I neglected to call my pills in on time out of being depressed. He said that he didn't know me well enough to change anything and shooed me away. When I went to pick up my antidepressants, I discovered that he did the opposite of what I asked and changed me from a month supply to a two week supply without telling me, as I would have obviously been adamantly against making my problem worse. What kind of a doctor hears that their patient is having a hard time picking their pills up on time and then makes their problem… twice as bad? He also lied to me that he didn't know me well enough to switch anything because he evidently did so behind my back. Also, I have been taking these for nine months, so why halve my supply when I asked for the opposite? I feel really unheard and unsafe in the hand of this man. If he wanted to see me in two weeks, he should have made an appointment with me instead of toying around with my well being just because he lacks basic communication skills. Do you want to be heard?
