Summary
I have always lived in southeastern Wisconsin and this is also where I began my healthcare career. My family and I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. In my spare time I enjoy reading.Part of my role as a nurse practitioner is to serve as an educator to my patients. If I can create an environment that my patients feel comfortable to ask questions, I can be a resource for them. I strongly believe that one's own healthcare is best when a patient feels educated regarding their care. When the necessary teaching and resources are provided, a patient can truly take control of their own healthcare. When an individual is in control of their own healthcare, outcomes are more positive. Patients are in charge of their health and as healthcare providers we provide the necessary tools for success.
