Dr. Jessica Carbajal, MD

Dr. Jessica Carbajal is a board-certified child & adolescent psychiatrist. She attended medical school at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, School of Medicine in Lima, Peru. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where she served as chief Resident. She then completed her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Miami. Since then, Dr. Carbajal has worked in academia and private practice. More recently, she has served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Stony Brook University.Dr. Carbajal specializes in caring for children and adolescents. She does psychiatric evaluations, consultations, psychopharmacologic (medication) management, and psychotherapy. Her areas of expertise include ADHD, Mood Disorders, Trauma and Anxiety.
