Dr. Ciralsky is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her practice interests include corneal diseases and corneal surgery, advanced cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and comprehensive ophthalmology.Dr. Ciralsky received her undergraduate education at Brown University where she graduated Magna cum laude. She also received the Anne Crosby Emery Fellowship upon graduation, an award given to two graduating seniors for scholarly ability and excellence of character. She then obtained her M.D. from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She continued her training at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, where she completed her Ophthalmology Residency and Cornea Fellowship. During her fellowship, Dr. Ciralsky was elected Chief Clinical Fellow of the Cornea service. She was also a recipient of the prestigious Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship.Dr. Ciralsky has been recognized as a gifted educator. She was awarded Fellow of the …Year, an award given by the residents of Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary for dedication and contribution to resident education. She is also actively involved in multiple research endeavors.Dr. Ciralsky is currently accepting new patients. Although dr Ciralsky is quite charming and has a wonderful bedside manner, hr exam was inaccurate and ineffective. Both dr Ciralsky and her assistant seemed very rushed and gave a lackadaisical exam. I especially suspected that my glasses prescription was Inaccurate. When I got the prescription fIlled, it turned out that I was correct. I see the same with or without the new glasses, which is not very well. I also went In because I believed that I miGht need cataract surgery. The doctor said that it probably wasn’t necessary but my vision is very cloudy. I don’t think her assistant knew what she was doing and dr Ciralsky Failed to pick up on that. The office was a nightmare! I had to wait to be seen for one hour and twenty minutes after my scheduled appointment. There was no air conditioning in the waiting are on a day when the temperature was in the nineties. If I do need cataract surgery, I certainly have no confidence in dr Ciralsky to perform it.

Some time ago, I was diagnosed with bilateral eye cataracts, with need of surgery, & I was quite afraid. Then I met Dr. Jessica Ciralsky, Cataract Specialist at Weill Cornell. Her exceptional professional knowledge & experience is only matched by her human understanding & compassion. Today, after she operated on me, my vision has recovered to the point that I no longer need glasses! She has made the difference, significantly improving the quality of my health & life. She is simply awesome, & I would wholeheartedly recommend her every single weekday & twice on Sundays.

Very competent, wonderful bedside manner, but be prepared to wait 1+ hours, first in exterior waiting room, then in interior waiting room. No rules against obnoxious cellphone use, so bring earphones and download Relaxio app!

This physician is a highly skilled, compassionate, caring medical practitioner that I have ever encountered. Her warmth, technical skill-sets, ability to listen, bedside manner is a trait that the NEW medical industry has failed to master and ALL should watch and learn from Dr. Ciralsky Bravo Dr. Ciralsky for treating all with dignity, respect and caring. You are a Godsend for all afflicted with an illness
