Dr. Jessica Corinne Cook, DO

Unprofessional in both actions and appearance. Dismissive and condescending, impressively bad bedside manner. After leaving the room she talked bad about me while using and unkind terms. Definitely needs to do some remedial training for both professional and self awareness skills.

This doctor condescendingly complained about me loud enough I could hear her from the hallway. On my first appointment. I do not trust her with my primary care, I would not trust her with yours - her lack of empathy and patronizing tone were not befitting of a medical professional. Please take heed of all the comments here and change your PCM to someone who actually cares about you and your health.

This DO needs to go to a real medicinal school and learn how to practice Medicine. I honestly don’t know why she became a family medicine doctor as she clearly doesn’t care about family. I saw her blow off a patient saying she was too busy. When she saw me she couldn’t be bothered. She didn’t know anything about me and was trying to make decisions about my healthcare. Dr. Cook is great at referrals. It’s probably why she decided to be a family medicine provider. She doesn’t actually have to treat anything, she can just get you a referral and get paid! What a disappointment. The reviews will fall on deaf ears as this is what Navy medicine has come to be these days. It’s sad the military people can not get proper care. Find someone else unless you just want a referral. Also, don’t be late… she cancels appointments for being 2 minutes late.

I like Dr. Cook. She's very cool, direct and focused. She even followed up on stuff that a specialist didn't. She doesn't run late & gets right the heart of things.

Where do I begin, this (doctor?) Is horrible one star is being way to polite I’ve been seeing her for a couple of years wasting my time I didn’t know I could chance Doctors so glad she has let me down time and time again enough is enough With her patronizing attitude, I can’t take it anymore!! It’s best I walk away!!! I believe she on board because no one else can make a patient feel more sickly after seeing her. Her famous line” I can only address your problem if I have time” Wow! Come in late after time of appointment then leave in less than five minutes.SMH ENOUGH!

I was having severe symptoms that persisted despite various treatments, meds and physical therapy. I requested a MRI to further investigate the issues and she refused. Eventually had to see a specialist that ordered an MRI immediately and found that I had a huge issue requiring surgery. I do not recommend anyone to trust this doctor with their care. She will ignore your symptoms, refuse to do additional tests and when you do all the leg work yourself and find out you really had a significant health issue requiring surgery, she won’t even admit her mistake. She acted cold and rigid toward me afterwards, almost as if she was blaming me for her incompetence. It got to the point where I had to find another primary care doctor as I felt her attitude toward me was too toxic for me to continue seeing her.

Dr. Jessica Cook in San Diego has a horrible bedside manner. Further, she acts like she doesn’t care and can’t be bothered. I do not recommend her as a doctor in charge of anyone’s health.
