Dr. Jessica Lynn Fiorelli, MD

I have been with Dr. Fiorelli for 6+ years, she delivered by two babies and when I had issues after delivery and while pregnant she was able to fit me in to see me. I also had an issue during the pandemic when office hours were tough and she helped me over the phone and got me into an ultrasound.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Fiorelli and her team for the excellent care I received during pregnancy, labor and delivery and well as the postpartum period. Not only is Dr. Fiorelli a stellar physician, but she is also equally kind, compassionate and sensitive. I would recommend her to anyone with full confidence.

Confident, knowledgeable, controls/leads the room during delivery - you feel secure and in the best hands with her, every step of the way, from first appointment to giving birth. No fluff, just expertise. Always to the point, and on point!

I do NOT recommend Dr. Jessica Fiorelli. I saw her twice for prenatal care–she was great on the first video visit, but was extremely lacking in bedside manner during the in-person visit (she was a bit snarky). She was also uninformative. All she did was ask me what questions I had and took a quick look at the baby via ultrasound. This is my first pregnancy, so I have no idea what questions to ask. I left feeling like I knew nothing about what was going on with my body or my baby. Additionally, her office staff has been extremely frustrating to deal with. There was not once a time I called that I didn’t get hung up accidentally or placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I spent over 3 months trying to resolve a billing issue and finally gave up and paid the charges because I didn’t want it to go to collections. The staff person who said she would resolve the issue just stopped responding to me. A hospital billing representative told me that if Dr. Fiorelli had sent the lab work in… question to the right lab, there would have been no charge for it. Her office staff person told me that patients have to request which lab their lab work gets sent to. I didn’t realize I needed to be a hospital billing expert to avoid overpaying for health services! You can find better care and a better experience elsewhere. Don’t settle and don’t trust your care with Dr. Fiorelli.

We were very disappointed in the care we received from Dr. Fiorelli. During a moment of great need in the second trimester, she dismissed our multiple urgent calls to her office relaying symptoms of bleeding and cramping, and passed a message that we did not need an in-person visit. When the situation became an emergency the next day, she did not come to the hospital. In the aftermath, she called and apologized, saying maybe she should have listened, and expressed regret at not having taken our initial calls more seriously. She seemed genuinely shaken, and promised the hospital would conduct a full review of what occurred. But by then it was too late.

This review is long overdue. I sincerely hope it will help someone else avoid the profound disappointment, anxiety, and discomfort I experienced with Dr. Fiorelli as my OB for my first pregnancy. I’ll start with the good. Dr. Fiorelli is not overly concerned with much, which can feel comforting for someone like myself who has gone through serious medical issues in the past. She is also very knowledgeable. Personality-wise, she is funny and blunt. This works for me in a friend, but not in a doctor. Dr. Fiorelli seemed like someone I clicked with and could work with, but that started to change pretty early in my pregnancy. She was too blunt, often dismissed my concerns, and wouldn’t give me straight answers. I felt annoying for having questions and concerns, meanwhile I almost never called in-between appointments. She was consistently nicer to me when my husband was there, too. When I mentioned that I might hire a doula, she got angry and defensive. I didn’t feel respected or heard by… her, and appointments eventually became very anxiety-provoking. I wish I had had another OB and have learned my lesson for whenever I decide to have another child.

She seemed to be in a very poor mood. We needed to make a medical decision. Rather than providing guidance, she made me feel poorly about myself.

Literally the kindest physician I have met in a long time. Clearly intelligent, really thorough service, rapid care, and just a good all-around person. I cannot wait till she is my future OB.

Dr. Fiorelli was the best doctor could have hoped for to help through my pregnancy and delivery. She was always attentive to my needs and questions. She made my delivery an easy, joyous and smooth experience. I would recommend her highly and without question to anyone seeking a kind and highly skilled professional to guide them through pregnancy and birth.

Always at ease with her during my pregnancy, any complications, and questions! I had an easy delivery and will continue to go to her for check ups and any future pregnancies.
