Jessica Hansen, MD

Pros: The administrative staff was efficient, and the office actually brought me back to the exam room eight minutes before my scheduled appointment time. Cons: Unfortunately, my clinical experience with Dr. Hansen was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I arrived seeking a collaborative partner with endocrine expertise to help manage my complex, highly disruptive daily symptoms. She did not once ask me how I was feeling (a first during a medical exam) and when I tried to repeatedly offer information re my symptoms, she ignored and/or dismissed them. It appeared as if Dr. Hansen was speaking from a generic medical script and she was not present or engaged in our conversation for the less than 10 minutes I met with her. Dr. Hansen did not review or assess my detailed lab history, and pushed a single path forward that I had explicitly declined. To make matters worse, Dr. Hansen abruptly made a highly insulting, offensive, and stereotypical personal remark.
