Dr. Jessica L Jeffries, MD

Dr. Jeffries is amazing I have experienced meeting with her twice. Once with a loved one of mine who was morbidly obese, she was one that did not descriminate. Dr.Jeffries was always available for questions and answered consicely but left us knowing she was fighting for our loved one just as much as we were.

She met my brother for the first time in ICU at Gateway and she was quick to judge him before knowing all his medical history. She seen he was a big person and kept talking about his weight instead of explaining what was going on with him at this time that he ended up on a ventilator after a colonoscopy procedure. She definitely doesn't like overweight people. When we tried to explain what his medical issues has been she just grinned like we didn't know what we were talking about. My brother is a good person and deserved to get better respect then what she gave him. We the family were upset to come in to see him on a ventilator and she had no compassion at all. There is no way she has a 5 star. I will continue to tell people how she treated us. Needs to go back to school and learn bedside manner.
