Worst physician ever.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had what was by far the WORST experience I’ve EVER had with a physician with Dr. Kosut. She was the on call physician for us while my 3 day old son was being treated for jaundice at Kapiolani Women’s & Children’s hospital. After being treated for a few hours (my son already at normal levels when we were admitted) we simply requested to be discharged. She came in and blamed us for taking her away from a coding child (a child in cardiac arrest) to discharge us and hoped someone else was able to step in for the child in cardiac arrest. If this was the case I’m still completely at a loss for words how she could have possibly left attending that patient. If it was not the case, this was the most unprofessional and unbelievable accusation I’ve ever experienced. She essentially stated we were to be at fault for that child’s outcome. She created a nightmare of an experience for us and our newborn. I cannot warn against this doctor more strongly.

Dr. Kosut is a self-serving hospital bureaucrat who looks out for herself first and the hospital second. Watch your back if your child is in her care.
