Jessica Morales, NP-C

I made an appointment to see a provider at Riverside Immediate Care in Watseka. My provider was a nurse practitioner named Jessica Morales. Jessica lacked empathy and compassion. She seemed overwhelmed to the point she was obviously shaking due to anxiety. It was 4:55pm and the Immediate Care was open until 8pm. There was one patient in a room and I was in the waiting area, next to be seen. While waiting, two different people walked in to be seen and she ran from the exam room in back and told the two ladies that she was not seeing anyone else that day unless they had appointments. Maybe she’s overworked but her attitude was hostile. She rushed me and spent less than 7 minutes with me. She didn’t listen to my lungs or heart, which I found odd since I was there for an upper respiratory infection. I had to ask her to examine my ears and throat. She asked me what my pcp normally prescribed and didn’t seem to want to examine me and make her own decisions about my medical treatment.
