Dr. Jessica Coller Ochsner, MD

Had an appointment on a Monday morning. Got sick with high fever on Sunday night (during COVID time- not allowed to go anywhere with fever!) and could not get out of the bed or make the appointment on Monday morning. I can provide a note that I was sick, but they still charge $75 for no show. The guy was an absolute jerk to me on the phone saying that was policy and it does not matter if I was dying in bed they have to charge me $75 for not showing up. Sick business- unprofessional. Only worried about the $$$. Will never go back. Now I have to get an attorney involved for justice on this!

After almost dying from a misdiagnosis. I went to see Dr Ocshner for some symptoms associated with surgery. She went over my extensive medical history all of my MRI scans and extensive medications. She spent so much time making sure that I had every resource and medical care that I needed. She was the first Dr in five years to actually listen to me and ask questions. She encouraged me to keep fighting and to stay diligent and to come back and see her when my upcoming surgery was over. Due to Covid my surgery was delayed and so I have delayed going back to see Dr Ocshner. I get to see her next week and I’m very excited to have her handling my medical issues! Also she went to my Aunts house and saw my uncle at their home because my aunt my dying and my uncle was paralyzed and it was difficult for the family to bring my uncle to see her! Make no mistake Doctor patient care is horrible in this day in age it is such a blessing to have Dr Ocshner who goes above and beyond for her patients… who get 100% of her attention!

If you want to be treated like a child, this doctor is for you. She does not like to be asked questions and is very defensive when you do so. She seems to disdain her patients; for her, time is money. If you have anything halfway serious, find another doctor who cares and is not so arrogant as to think he/she knows it all. She thinks she is always right, even when she is wrong.

This doctor does not take time to listen to what you have to say. I wanted to have something just looked at and the next thing she is doing a procedure she didn't discuss or ask if I could afford it or even wanted it. It's all about the $$$$$ and out the door in a hurry....She didn't say if to come back or any thing she just left

Superb physician.

She is the best in all aspects of care. My ONLY disappointment is that Dr. Ochsner does not accept Peoples Health insurance.

The staff member I interacted with was impolite and rude to the point that I would not return or recommend to anyone.
