Dr. Shabo has been my psychiatrist for several years now. I am not an easy patient as I have bad side effects to many medications. She always listens (which many doctors do not) and takes her time to review everything with me. I cannot say enough good things about her and I'm shocked to see any negative reviews. She is amazing.

We just had our first appt with Dr. Shabo with my 15 year old son. She was professional, asked countless questions, gave us great advice and adjusted my sons medications which is already working. Highly recommend.

Dangerous and likely unstable

You always have to wait over an hour to see Dr Chi about for five minutes. She graduated from medical school in New Jersey that was shut down by the state. This bride has no idea what she’s doing.

terrible doctor, uneducated. will not help you at all. rushes you in and out. you end up saying "i waited an hour for that!!!!"

Dr. Doesn’t know what she’s talking about and rushes you out after a few minutes. Stay away

When I first met with Dr. Shabo she asked me about my medication history while she had my medication history in hand. When I forgot to mention about one medication she accused me of being deceptive. She happened to agree with the medication prescribed to me by my Internist. She told me I must choose between her and my Internist since only one doctor can prescribe the medication. I chose my internist, because Dr. Shabo agreed with my Internist’s choice of medication and my Internist is only five minutes away from me, whereas Dr. Shabo is 45 minutes away from me. I went back to Dr. Shabo two months later with severe depression. She said in a harsh tone that failed to follow up with her, forgetting that she gave me the OPTION to follow up with her or my Internist. I then made an appointment with a different Psychiatrist who put me on a mood stabilizer medication that neither Dr. Shabo nor my Internist had even thought of. He also took me off one of the medications that Dr. Shabo and my… Internist agreed on. In Dr. Shabo’s defense, my psychiatrist kept me on one of medications that she and my Internist agreed upon. My depression went away, I have a wonderful sense of well-being, and I am fully enjoying life. I do not find fault with my Internist for not putting me on the proper medication cocktail, because an Internist does not specialize in psychiatry, but Dr. Shabo does. The fact that Dr. Shabo has no bedside manner, is accusatory and has a harsh nature is secondary.

Dr. Shabo treats my 14 year old daughter and after looking through over 50 providers, not only was their office pleasing and helpful once i found them, Dr. Shabo is a very calm mannered, like-able, observant and AWESOME doctor. I am very glad i picked her. I travel 50 miles round trip to visit her Boca office and I would have no problem traveling another 20 miles as long as she is the doctor on call
