Summary
The best way to communicate with children is number one to smile and to be kind. Children can sense kindness, and they can sense that you're there trying to help. But the other thing that's most important is also to be honest with them, and tell them, this is what's going to happen next. I feel like they can build a trust with you and then they realize that they don't have to be as afraid.
