You deserve care and kindness. So if you need a GI doctor, keep looking. Dr. Trevino treated me with coldness from the moment she walked in ... like I was a nuisance, not a patient. I came in scared, in pain, and trying my best to explain. Instead of listening, she questioned everything I said, as if I were making it up. When I asked why I was hurting so badly, she replied, “How would I know? I just met you.” I stayed calm and asked if we could start over, and for a little more patience. Her response? That I could find another doctor if I didn’t like her attitude. When I asked again for kindness, my voice cracked—and she began speaking to me slowly and loudly, like I was a misbehaving child. You deserve care, not cruelty. Don’t go here.

I couldn't get this doctor to call back despite numerous attempts and for good reason. When she finally did, after days and days, she was clearly annoyed. To me, she seemed more interested in scheduling my procedures and not in my overall healthcare. I found another doctor after my PCP said she would no longer refer to that office.

My 16yr.old daughter had stomach pains every day of her life, not one single doctor took notice of her problems. we spent many days in the hospital and she missed many days of school. Ms. Trevino was brought up in conversation after her last hospital stay last year and the attending doctor showed her images of our daughters pancreases and she right away saw a problem. She usually only works on adults but she wanted to fix our daughter. After 3 procedures of opening our daughters pancreas duct our daughter has been pain free and not another problem since. I can't even express the gratitude I feel for Ms. Trevino and her willingness to look at my daughters records and take the time to fix her. If she sees this, Thank You!

Hopefully, you have, not just good, but outstanding insurance. Without it, you'll only get to make an appt., you won't ever get in to see her. Apparently, her awards place her high above patient care and concern. All we have needed from her is a signature on an application so my son can get meds from the mfg which will save him $2,239.78 a month. She won't give us the time of day. I guess she'd have to forfeit her kick back from the pharmaceutical company. We've even offered to pay cash for an appt., so, my son will continue to suffer because he has no insurance to help. So be aware if cash doesn't get an appt., your insurance may only get you a phone call to cancel your appt.
