Dr. Jia Lin, MD

Jia Wang Lin, MD, PhD, is a Staff Member of the Department of General Anesthesia. Her specialty interests include anesthesia for complicated cardiovascular, neurologic and spin surgical procedures, anesthesia for transplant procedures and for patients with difficult airways. Dr. Lin earned her medical degree from Beijing Medical University Faculty of Medicine in Beijing, China. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed an internship at Beijing Medical University, a residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Oh. She is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Echocardiography for Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.
