"was very disappointed with my experience with this physician. During our visit, important concerns raised by the patient’s family were dismissed without much consideration. Good healthcare requires listening not only to the patient but also to the people advocating for them, especially when they may notice changes or issues the patient may not communicate. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and unwillingness to fully listen made us feel ignored and frustrated. I hope this provider works on improving their bedside manner and takes family input more seriously in the future, as collaboration is essential for quality patient care"

If you care about your own care, you will give the attention and effort necessary to communicate well with this doctor. His concern and explanations far exceeded those previously given to us by our primary and by my husband’s cardiologist. Kudos to Dr. Guo! He provided excellent care when an issue arose during my husband’s hospital stay, and did so without getting reactionary and going overboard. All ended well, and he stayed on watch.

Dr Guo can barely speak English. It was almost impossible to communicate with him regarding my care in Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He was impatient and annoyed that I asked him to slow down. He did not want to listen to my concerns.
