Dr tang is the rudest uncaring dr I have ever come in contact with .he has no interest in an iything you have to say .would give him less than a 0 rating . Joan ackley

Do not see this doctor! I would give 0 stars if I could. I had a hernia surgery and it was a bad experience from start to finish. In the initial consultation he said almost nothing about what to expect. I asked about the type of mesh used and if it is the one involved with all of the lawsuits, and I think he stated it was good, and the type he has to use. It was hard to understand him at this point. My thought about this, was that he was very cavalier with my health with no regard as to the fact that I was human. I only went through with it because I couldn't wait for another consultation with another surgeon and my primary care physician went into enough detail to convince me things would be alright. The day of the surgery, the operating room staff was great and did all the prep, they were the only part of this experience that pleasant. The surgeon, Doctor Tang, didn't even look at the chart to know it was left side. He started looking at the right side, until the nurse… informed him. Post op recovery room, I never saw him, but again the staff was excellent. At the 2 week follow up, again little information was given to me, except to tell me the hernia was gone which I already knew since I just had a surgery. At this follow up, he said it was ok to go to the gym, although I was so sore I was not walking well yet. I asked about a weight restriction, he stated there was none, which is not typical from what I read. Pain management was another area of concern. I was given 12 percocet tablets, enough for 3 days if I stretched it to the maximum, but nothing else. It would seem there was no plan for pain management for days 4 through 14, not to mention beyond that time frame. I had to call and beg for some help, they gave me a few 800 mg ibuprofen. Originally they wanted to be off of work for nearly three weeks, and stated I could return to work once I was off the pain meds, odd since they only gave me 3 days of pain meds.

Hard to understand and doesn't like to deal with women. Doesn't like to repeat himself even if you can't understand him in the first place.
