Jianping Lin, MD, PhD

Jianping Lin, M.D., Ph.D. joined City of Hope® Cancer Center Chicago in 2018 as a pathologist. Board certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology, Dr. Lin is dedicated to advancing the diagnosis of cancer and helping each City of Hope patient’s oncologist recommend comprehensive and individualized cancer treatments.Dr. Lin received her medical degree from the Norman Bethune Medical School, Jilin University in Changchun, China, followed by a doctorate from the same university. She then moved to the United States and completed a pathology residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in hematopathology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.Dr. Lin has held academic positions, published several research papers and made several presentations on her research throughout the years. Additionally, she is a member of several professional medical organizations, including the American Society of Hematology, American …Society for Clinical Pathology and United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
