Dr. Jigar Mukund Patel, MD

Hello, I'd like to say I was in and out very quickly. The staff was wonderful. However, Dr. Patel ignored majority of the questions I had which was very rude. As I waited for a response to my question he didn't reply. So I asked him "did you hear me" and he said "yes" and that was it no answer. He barely listens to any of your concerns. Although he did successfully address 1 of the 2 reasons I was there. The other medical problem I had he told me to go see my PCP. However, I came to the emergency room, which means I'm in pain and I was trying to explain that to him, but of course he ignored me. I'd have to say, this is the worse doctor I met in my entire 29 years of living. I'm upset that I listened to my wife to come here to North Fulton Hospital in Georgia. Dr. Patel is a poor communicator with atrocious manners such rolling his eyes at me just because I had questions about being lacerated. I would never recommend seeing this doctor if you're seriously concerned about your well… being.

Never can get appointment... Staff rude... has not idea what you want! Simple appointment seam to take transfer after transfer... But what do you expect from Jefferson, GA

I became a patient of Dr. Patel's about a year ago. I have chronic anemia and had experienced a negative reaction in a different office when receiving treatment. Dr. Patel took the time to sit down with me and listen to me describe the experience and then referred me to another specialist, had his staff make an appointment for me, and called the specialist to help that Dr. understand the apprehension I was feeling. Having a primary physician who knows me and is willing to work with my other doctors is priceless. I feel blessed to consider Dr. Patel my doctor and have now suggested to all my family members to make him their primary physician.
