Dr. Jihane Sfeir, MD

Dr. Sfeir checked my A1C at 6.5 and immediately prescribed Metformin 500 mg daily without discussing it first with me. I tried to tell her I binged on chocolate that week, am recovering from Covid related pneumonia, so have not been as active as usual, requested to have a dietician help me first to leat right, & lose weight, but she refused to err on the side of caution first before putting me on a medicine that has many possible side effects. So I have changed Drs.

I was seeking an internist to replace my former physician who passed away. This doctor has a brusque, rude and argumentative bedside manner. Her English is so poor she was barely understandable. The clinic was virtually empty on a Monday morning, that should tell you something. Wouldn't take my animals to her.

Dr. Sfeir is kind and exhibits competence. Being medical myself, i am extremely "picky" selecting medical treatment. In the 24 yrs. I've lived in this area, she is the first physician to actually get my diabetes under control. She wotks with the whole person. I am most impressed.

I left so many messages on my results and have still not heard back. No follow up and simply does not care. Horrible. Will not go back to her.

Doesn’t care about the patient

After my first visit I knew I am lucky to have this doctor . She is calm and a great listener . Never felt rushed and always willing to explain.

I had been going to the same welll known MD for 25 years and feeling very bad. He kept sending me for epidurals(3), and xrays, but to no avail. I finally went to Dr Sfeir, who, on the first visit, with a simple blood test, sent me immediately to an oncologist, who confirmed I had Multiple Myloma. i think she is very caring and extremely on top of things. Would always recommend her.

Its been a horrible nightmare. She is rude with poor quality in care. I would not recommend hervto anyone...even her own nurse thought i should go somewhere else. I have a lot of doctors but i have never been treated this poorly.
