Dr. Jila J Mahajan, DDS

I am fairly new to Jacksonville, and had to find a new dentist for my children. Being that I didn't have any referrals, I chose to use online reviews as my guide. I will admit that I am "that" mom so I'm extremely particular when it comes to my children. I am SO glad that I found this office though! The entire staff was remarkable!!!!! The office set up is "icing on the cake". If you need a dentist for your children look no further! A+++++++

Dr. Mahajan definitely has a kid-friendly office and manner. My girls have been going to her for over 7 years and I would recommend her highly.

When the one thing you worry about most is your child, it is so refreshing to receive empathy from a prudent and knowledgeable health care worker who tells you that facts and eases child and parent simultaneously. Her staff is exactly the same. Never once have I felt uncomfortable in her office. Dr. Mahajan was not only straight forward, but also went above and beyond to ensure my child's wellbeing. She also took time took time to explain X-rays and took the time to explain any procedures in a language I could interpret and use to facilitate the best growth of child. Before she had her own office, I brought my child to her. She has never faltered in her attention to detail and outstanding bedside manner. I will send my daughter there again and again.

I love this office! I've been in the dental field, myself, for quite some time. It's actually quite important to take young children to a specialized pediatric dental office. This office is so adorable and kid friendly! I read a previous review and was surprised at their experience. Unfortunately, not all information is common knowledge. The fact is, each doctor has their own views and opinions on how to treat anything potentially going on in the teeth. I have known Dr Mahajan's work for several years now, and have never witnessed her propose treatment in an unethical manner. On the contrary, I have witnessed her turn down immediate treatment in order to "watch" what direction would be in the patient's best interest. It's important to understand that you are entitled to get second opinions. When it's concerning your children, you definitely want to be sure. I would recommend getting a third opinion, not just a second, so you could compare fairly. I would trust Dr… Mahajan with the teeth of any child I know.
