My experience with Jilaina J. Taylor was deeply disappointing and emotionally distressing. During interactions with her, I felt dismissed, spoken to in a way that lacked professionalism, and treated without the level of respect and compassion I believe patients deserve. What stood out most to me was the communication style used during difficult conversations. Rather than feeling supported or heard, I left feeling judged, emotionally overwhelmed, and uncomfortable advocating for myself. As someone who sought care in a vulnerable position, I found the interaction to be unnecessarily confrontational and lacking empathy. I believe healthcare providers hold significant responsibility in how they communicate with patients, especially when discussing sensitive topics. Patients should feel safe asking questions, expressing concerns, and participating in conversations about their own care without feeling belittled or emotionally escalated. While everyone may experience providers differently,… I personally would not return for care based on my experience. I hope this feedback encourages more mindful, patient-centered communication moving forward.
