Dr. Jill Nicole Allen, MD

From reading the other comments, it seems that people either like her or don't. I have been seeing her for a long time and am very happy with her work. Her diagnosis was correct and the treatments worked. She is calm and quiet, shakes her head and smiles but she is listening to what you have to say and always takes time to explain and answer questions.

I found Dr Allen very informative. She answered all our questions and concerns. She was prompt and I felt that she was very caring.

Her manner is condescending, she doesn't communicate information completely and clearly. She was not adequately responsive during a recent emergency, and truly seems not to care.

We arrived on time at 1pm and sat in a room till 4pm. An intern talked to us and explained Dr Allens diagnosis, prognosis. She came in room alittle after 4. She sat and listened to the intern while nodding her head and smiling. she asked no questions or offered any advice she spent 5 mins with us shook our hands and we left. She only offered chemo, when we went to dana farber next day they were surprised she didnt think we needed radiation also. very scary stuff!!

I highly would recommend Dr. Allen. Her expertise and compassion are of the highest level. I have never fell rushed, my questions always answered in a way I could understand. She was firm in her goals for me even when I was not. Thanks to her I am a four year cancer survivor and going strong.

Please do yourself or loved ones a favor by avoiding this physician. As far as we are concerned, this doctor seriously does not belong around sick human beings!

I think my rating says it all, but I will add this, she is NOT happy at all with informed patients. She became angry and defensive when ideas were suggested by myself which I learned of through my research into many current treatments etc,. I don't feel she has enough knowledge, really, for this field, regardless of her accreditation or studies.
