Dr. Jill Christine Oh Crosby, MD

She offered a pain patient Ketamine and Dilaudid, patient refused. An hour or so later, pain had grown more intense and patient agreed to take the Dilaudid. While waiting on tests/labs, about 2 hours go by and the pain had only grown worse so patient inquired about another possible solution. Jill's attitude changed and told the patient she would not be prescribing any pain medication, although this was not what the patient inquired about. Patient called Jill out and she became incredibly defensive, stomped away and said she would go get patients discharge papers so patient could leave. Jill's diagnosis on the discharge papers were 'Drug seeking behavior'. Obviously, the patient was extremely hurt by this. The head of the ED and the 2 nurses that had been seeing the patient consoled her, agreeing that being given that label was ludicrous. All 3 of them stated multiple time through this conversation that most everyone working with Jill, disagrees with her practice and cannot believe/do… not believe she deserves her title. Jill Crosby used her license and abused her power to negatively effect the patient for being outspoken. Fairview Health does not take action when the RNs and other med professionals under Jill Crosby file complaints or speak out about her behavior. This needs to end and Jill Crosby needs to be held accountable for her actions towards this patient, her past and future patients and her co-workers. To the nurses and other ED staff that were so sweet that night - we thank you and appreciate you.
