Dr. Jill Megan Grilliot, MD, FACOG

I have never in my life been so mistreated by anyone, let alone a doctor. Dr Jill Grilliot was so rude and condescending, she left me and my mother in tears. I was made to feel completely ignorant. She would not listen to anything I had to say and was so visibly annoyed by me it left me speechless. I went in for a simple evaluation for my pregnancy and left feeling bullied and helpless. I will never be returning to Tanner Healthcare for Women as long as she is there. I wish I had time to sit and write every awful detail about my experience with Dr.Grilliot but frankly I would be typing for the rest of the night. It was awful to say the least and she should be ashamed to call herself a doctor.

I can not say enough about how thankful I am for this doctor. She has been caring for me since she started her practice in Carrollton, and I'm so grateful for her professionalism and demeanor as my OBGYN. She was with me through a miscarriage and offered support and watched my other pregnancy very closely. She delivered my son, Kaden, a little over 8 years ago, and it was her calm presence and quick-action that kept me calm as a new mother. She helped so much in the delivery room. Being new to the whole birthing process, she walked me through it step-by-step. I was so thankful for her direction and her urgency toward every situation that arose in my complicated birthing process. As soon as he was born, he came out unresponsive and not breathing (because he got stuck). She kept a clear head through the whole situation, which eased my mind tremendously. She remained calm and collected while my emotions started elevating more and more. She handled every situation with care and… professionalism. I truly don't know what I would have done without her during that birth. I'm still a patient of hers and will continue to be. She always goes the extra mile answering questions and throughly explains answers to my concerns. In my opinion, she is one of the best doctors I have.

I love Dr. Grilliot! She's thoughtful about her treatment plans, considers all options, works well with your insurance constraints and truly works to find the best option for your care. She's very well versed on women's health issues, including diabetes and high cholesterol, and works well with the other doctors managing my care. She's easy to talk to and is understanding of the challenges in being a middle-age woman. I appreciate her straightforward approach to my care!

Dr. Grilliot was the most condescending and rude doctor I have ever seen. Any questions I asked were rudely answered by her as she made it a point to try and make me aware and feel as though I was completely ignorant. She literally told me that because I have PCOS that my insides look like "popcorn" and that there was nothing she could do about that. She did however, suggest a surgery to alleviate symptoms I reiterated over and over that I did NOT have. She didn't listen to me once! Out of desperation, I had the surgery which only excaberated my symptoms and added to the original problem I came to this practice in an attempt to fix. When I tried to explain my issues with her in a follow up visit she basically said my symptoms had nothing to do with my monthly cycle and that I needed psychiatric medication. I have never been back. Seeing Dr. Jill Grilliot was the worst medical decision I have EVER made. Avoid her at all costs!
