Dr. Jill Renae Vanwyk, MD

Dr VanWyk sets the tone and rules for office visits. I’ve seen her once. That one annual visit resulted in poor communication, poor service from what I was used to, and a loooong waiting time to discuss a prescription. Her hours apparently vary in Longmont, so you have no idea if her office will be open or she will be available on any given day. Today I asked if the receptionist would please ask her to call me, since I’d been waiting a week to get a prescription straight. The receptionist would not answer that question but kept saying “your prescription is under review”. It was very frustrating. I guess I was talking to a robot. I’m looking now for a highly rated PCP. I’ll drive an hour if I have to. My request is not a sudden and urgent one. I don’t believe fulfilling my prescription request by the doctor would take more than a 5 minute review, a quick call to the pharmacy, and then a ping for me to pick it up. But the overall service and communication in this office… rates very, very low. The sign on this office door needs to read, “ The Doctor is out”.
