She’s very likable. Takes her time with patience and makes sure they are comfortable and informed about what she is doing while giving an exam. She jokes around with my kids but still stays on task and makes sure all my questions are answered. We never wait long to see her - with the exception of today (flu season). My kids love her!

Dr Howell has seen my two boys since their birth and she is excellent. She is very thorough and listens to mom/dad to thoroughly understand the issue.

Last week, my son visited Norton Community Medical Associates (Pediatrics) in Clarksville, IN. He has been a patient there since he was two, with no problems. Tyler was diagnosed with ADD by Teresa Ratterman, MD in 5th grade. After many attempts of managing with diet, supplements and alternate treatments, we had him thoroughly tested (again) and placed him on one of the the lowest doses of medication available. Within days, the improvements were amazing. Three years later, he's now a great student and his outlook on life has improved 100%. What an improvement. We're still on the low dose. This past year, we've noticed a change in the doctor's office overall. The waits were much longer, the prices were higher, the overall feel had seemed to darken. This last visit, Dr. Jill S. Howell-Berg, MD, who had only seen Tyler once prior to this visit, placed her hand on my son's shoulder and told him that he could find "other ways to manage his ADD." She didn't address me. She was very… condescending towards me in general. It was apparent to me that she had her own agenda. I would like to post this information on public format so that everyone reads of our experience. We have found another physician, in a private practice. When you stand up against poor practices, the system can change for the better. You do not have to tolerate sub-par treatment!
