Jill Markos DDS
Dr. Markos has over 30 years of experience providing dental care. She began her career as a hygienist in Tampa, Florida, and 2 years later moved to New York City. For the next 8 years she worked as a hygienist, while completing her undergraduate degree at Hunter College in psychology, and then continued on to Columbia University Dental School. After graduation she began building a practice on the upper east side of Manhattan working as a general dentist and specializing in Porcelain Laminate Veneers (PLVs).
After getting married she and her husband moved to Syracuse, New York where she worked for an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization). It was during this time that she began to clearly articulate what kind of dentist she would be and the kind of practice she wanted to develop. In 1995 she moved to Vancouver and purchased Dr. Theodore Caviness' practice. In 2002, the practice relocated to the current location in the Minnehaha neighborhood.
Dr. Markos enjoys kayaking, …singing and playing the guitar with her two daughters, hiking and traveling.
