Dr. Jill Waters Marsh, MD

Dr. Jill Marsh specializes in family medicine and geriatric medicine, providing comprehensive care for patients across all age groups with particular expertise in caring for older adults. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine and completed her residency training at the University of North Carolina Health System. With 16 years of clinical experience, Dr. Marsh brings extensive knowledge to her practice. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to serve diverse patient populations.

Dr. Marsh practices at multiple UAB locations throughout Birmingham, Alabama, including UAB Hospital Birmingham and UAB Highlands. Her clinical expertise includes managing high blood pressure in both adult and pediatric patients, as well as handling urgent blood pressure situations. She routinely performs essential diagnostic tests such as complete blood counts and kidney function …assessments to monitor her patients' overall health. Dr. Marsh also provides care at the Geriatric Clinic at UAB Hospital Highlands and UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center, where she focuses on the unique healthcare needs of older adults.
