Her communication is very poor. Her office is just her and a receptionist. You can never talk to anyone. I've learned my lesson, it was an expensive one, but when you deal with this type of disease you're out thousands anyways. I'm so tired of the medical arena taking advantage of very ill, desperate patients. I'm out 3k with no follow up and no better off.

She wanted money so she dropped her patience to get it. Here is her current policy.Center for Multisystem Disease, LLC does not currently contract with any insurance provider. We deeply regret the negative impact this will have on patients. Currently, we do not submit medical claims on your behalf; however we will (upon request) provide you with a billing summary that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. At least partial reimbursement may be possible if you have out-of-network coverage. Dr. Schofield no longer participates in the Medicaid or Medicare program. If you are a Medicare Part B beneficiary and wish to become a patient of the Center for Multisystem Disease, LLC, you are required to accept the terms and conditions set forth in a private contract between you and Center for Multisystem Disease, LLC. This private contract outlines that no Medicare payment will be made to you or to Center for Multisystem Disease, LLC for the services provided by our… providers, even if such services are covered by Medicare. Under this private contract, you acknowledge that you accept full responsibility for all charges for services provided by Center for Multisystem Disease, LLC and that payment is due in full at the time care is provided. Laboratory, imaging and other testing as well as medications and infusion therapies ordered by out-of-network providers are covered by most insurance companies, but it is your responsibility to verify whether this is the case for your specific. She's all about the money.

Today we saw Dr. Schofield and she gave us hope that the MCAS and POTS was manageable and not all in our heads. She was very knowledgeable, very efficient, and treated my partner with the compassion that had been lacking in some previous doctors who after numerous ER visits thought it was all in her head.

To leave your folks to start an all cash practice without even telling them where you are going is a harmful thing to do. We are out here like fish out of water. Me personally in so much pain I'd rather be dead. You broke your oath for money.

Dr. Schofield is a wonderful physician with ample knowledge to be working in her field of specialty. She has a great bedside manner and was terrific at listening to me. I am very upset that she is no longer at University of Colorado. She was a true asset to their medical team.

Amazing Dr. Would give her a million stars if I could. Compassionate, very smart, and committed to flinging a true diagnosis for a complicated autoimmune problem.
