I've been a patient of Dr. Wallner's for almost two years. I appreciate that she asks lots of questions, really listens to my concerns and gives me choices when there are some.

Dr. Wallner is a super doctor in Crossville. She listens and doesn't dismiss patients' concerns. She is open to herbs and vitamins. My husband has Type 2 diabetes.She suggested diet and a herb and it works. He had 5 heart bypasses in 2011 and her medical advice, together with our preference (less medication is better), keeps him very healthy so far. In 2012, she was instrumental in diagnosing Myeloma-cancer and found me a great neuro surgeon, Dr. Rodriquez Cruz, in Cookeville. In 2017 I had certain pains and she requested the proper scan. Unfortunately, I needed surgery for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer. It was caught very early. My lungs are cancer free. Dr. Wallner spends time with her patients which is uncommon nowadays. Dr. Wallner is one of those rare doctors who would rather see you be well than see you in her office all the time. This attitude is hard to find in this day and age. So glad that we were referred to her by word of mouth in 2008. Her staff has been great in all… these years.

Dr Wallner is concerned for your overall well being. She checks everything. I like that she doesn't leave it to you to find the help you need. I will be making her my primary care dr.

Dr. Wallner never rushes me and is willing to listen and work with me, rather than taking a dictatorial approach. She will prescribe drugs but is very open to lifestyle changes, etc. I prefer to do without the dangerous drugs. She understands their potential side effects and knows of alternatives.
