Dr. Jill Parker Wohlfeil, MD

I did not want to put a procedure on insurance. The company I worked for had access to some medical records at certain times, and I wanted complete confidentiality Even though I paid out of pocket and stated this, I found out later that my request was not abided by on her end. The insurance company was informed even though I paid out of pocket and stated concerns. Did a lipo w this provider. The groin area was puffy and was not addressed properly. I had to have this "fixed" by another doctor. Very expensive to fix. Then, after waiting a good 30 minutes for this doctor for one visit, I realized that she documented a when I was a minute late. Needless to say, I am not returning.

I have seen Dr. Wohlfeil in the past and called recently to make an appointment for a menopause evaluation. The staff person on the phone (I did not catch her name due to a bad connection) was extremely rude and condescending. She acted "put out" when I asked several questions about the appointment and said I should probably see someone closer to home. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this facility.

I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and thought it was under control. I kept gaining weight no matter what I did. I finally decided to go see Dr. Wohlfeil and see if she could help me through this. She is amazing!!! She did more tests on my thyroid than any other doctors I have been to, and found out it was not under control. She prescribed me the right medication and helped me through it all and I finally started to lose weight like I should, quite a bit of it as a matter of fact, and my thyroid is now under control!!! The staff is awesome, they treat you as a person and not just a patient. I have even decided to have Dr. Wohlfeil to be my gynecologist because she is very thorough and very caring of others health!!

Dr Wohlfeil said my health issues were too complex for her and that she did not have time to spend researching the supplements that I was on that she was not knowledgeable about. She was not kind to me. when I received the balance bill, I called and asked them to write the amount of since she told me that if I I had an out-of-town doctor that could handle my health conditions, then I had better continue driving to see him as she could not. she could have been more kind.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jill and staff. I had a wonderful experience and will be back!

Avoid seeing her for anything that is more than run of the mill gynecology. I got the feeling she is more focused on the "medispa" aspect of her practice than the women's medical aspect. The MA & nursing staff was more caring than she was. Don't allow her to be dismissive when you know there is a problem.

Her office staff is incredibly rude. I will put up with them for now because I really like dr wohlfeil, but if they get out of hand again, I will end up finding another doctor.
