Dr. Jimmy Rodney Littlejohn, MD

I went to the ER for a kidney stone on 9/4 and Littlejohn was the DR on call for the hospital, I only have one kidney and was told the stone was not obstructing so I was not emergent and was sent home. I was advised by the ER Dr that I could call this Dr to attempt to be seen since my old urologist retired in 2023. I reached out to this office on Wed their recording stated they were closed but it was within the time frame the recording said they should be open. I called again 9/9 and received the same message. Today 9/10 I was able to reach the office and was asked do you have a urologist. I explained no that my urologist was retired. She told me there is a new DR in that office and I need to go to him Dr Littlejohn " can't see everyone..." I am beyond upset as no one in the Tri Cities even cares enough to attempt to help you. My advice do not go to Kingsport hospital for urology because no one will be able to help you once you leave...

Dr Littlejohn is great, Office staff has a lot to be desired. Most unprofessional office I have dealt with. I would give office staff F-

My husband had kidney stones and the hospital chose Dr. Littlejohn to do his proceedure. After it was all said and done with a pretty hefty bill I called to set up payment plans and they only do 90 day payment plans. Which would put our monthly payments at $300 a month which is totally not feasible. I pay them $50 monthly as that is all we can afford along with the other dr bills that we are still paying on from this same hospital visit. I just received a nasty letter in the mail saying he will deny any future services because we did not comply to their payment plans. Which are completely not feasible. There staff was very rude over the phone as well.

If you have surgery with major complications please don't expect to reach ANYONE at the office who is willing to get a message to the urologist or even a nurse!!!! This is day three that I have called and no one has returned my call....So on the ER for medical help and of course a huge bill to pay....After recovery I will find another urologist who cares for his patients and has a trained staff to know how to help post opt patients... This has nothing to do with pain medication.... Only a temperature of 102.....

I was pretty tense about seeing a urologist for some problems I was having and was very nervous it was something serious. He is absolutely one of the most polite, professional and caring doctors I've met, and I work in healthcare. Thank you, Dr. Littlejohn! All tests we normal, thank you, Jesus!

I've live in several states and Dr Littlejohn is one of the best Drs I've been to. On time great follow up an great staff.

I went to Dr. Littlejohn after a bad experience with my original urologist. He diagnosed my problem and performed a TURP which resolved it. Great doctor and great interpersonal relations.
