Dr. Jim B. Singletary

My Mission "My main mission as a dentist is simple; I want to utilize my abilities to impact as many people as possible by providing them with advanced dental treatment, dental education, and a comfortable dental home. It is my goal to give the patients more than they expect and to exceed their expectations at each visit." Education Dr. Singletary graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2010, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. With his sights on dentistry, Dr. Singletary worked for three years as a dental assistant before moving to Bradenton, Florida, where he graduated from LECOM School of Dental Medicine with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Professional Memberships Dr. Singletary is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Life & Hobbies Throughout dental school, Dr. Singletary became interested in organized dentistry; so …much so that he served as a national representative of the American Student Dental Association, where he was the voice of dental students from the states of Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Puerto Rico. He worked with several other dental students alongside the American Dental Association to combat and solve issues that dental students typically face. Dr. Singletary is now an avid member of the Florida Dental Association, where he hopes to stay active in advocating for the state of Florida and the field of dentistry. Dr. Singletary is from a small coastal town in North Carolina, where he was raised on a local produce farm. Growing up in a small town instilled many values in Dr. Singletary that he will take with him wherever his life leads – it is his strong moral and ethical foundation that he attributes most of his success. When he isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. Singletary can be found going on walks with his Labradoodle, Gracie, eating delicious foods, enjoying the Florida sunshine, and traveling to new destinations.
