This office is extremely unprofessional in every way imaginable. The dental service as well as the office administration. I went in to have one took/crown repaired. I was told it could not be repaired. I need to have it replace. This was fine. I had insurance. It was a Saturday appointment. The office Manager , Sony could not verify my insurance information. I had a care credit card. She charged the entire amount to the card and never filed a claim. On top of this, the dentist pull out my other crown. Mind you these are my two front teeth. Yes, front. I was devastated to say the least. I was assured that it would be repaired and the dentist was very apologetic as he regretfully acknowledged that it was accidental and he would take care of it. This never happen after over 10 visits or more to the Covington and Snellville office, The tooth was never repaired, and it took numerous times to replace the original took. They told me I needed special parodontax cleaning . I was getting the… cleanings as well. I continued to inquire about my tooth they pulled out in error. Each time they would tack it up there and it would fall out the same day, the next day, the same day again. It was constant back and forth trying to get my tooth repaired and inquiring why insurance claim was never filed. I received so many different responses, received the run around. It became so exhausting, and I had to do something to repair my mouth. I purchased dentures after loosing the tooth that I had to keep tacking up with super clue and or fixodent. This was embarrassing, stressful and very disappointing as I did not deserve to be mistreated this way. I trusted Dr. Jimmy Blount take to conduct himself with competence and integrity, with candor and compassion, and with personal commitment to the be interest of his patients, to hold himself and his stall accountable to care for my patients , as he would be cared for. THIS IS WHY I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW. Dr. Blount after 2 years has not done so, even after speaking with him personally over the phone and in person. He now refuses to reimbursement me for the dentures I have spent over $850 dollars for, the humiliations or still not having a front tooth that he pulled out from negligence in getting my dental impressions. He left the room and it stayed in my mouth until he returned and it had harden so much that he could had to tug and twist to remove it, therefore, pulling out the crown next to it. . He now states that he does not owe me anything and that he provided me the service I came to his office for and he has no obligation to me, even after he promised that he would repair or reimbursement me. I him advised that I no longer reside in Georgia and he reassured me again by saying no problem Ms. Parker, I remember you and you have been trying to get this resolved when? I said 2018. He said I will refund you with a check. I will have my front personnel to pull your file and get back with you. THERE IS MORE BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS. NOTHING WAS DONE. HE REFUSES TO HONOR HIS WORK. AND DON'T TRUST HIM.

I had my tooth pulled this Saturday and I swear I didn't feel the needle or the extraction. So glad they let me walk in. Most offices would've turned me down because I didn't schedule an appointment first. But not this place! Yes they were busy but they told me I would be a fit in and they'll take care of me. And that's just what they did.

I had a tooth ache for 2 weeks and Dr. Blount removed my tooth that same day of my visit! There was no pain and he pulled it out within seconds. Nique was very helpful and comforted me the entire time. I recommend anyone that's in need for a great dentist to see Dr. Blount.

Dr. Blount made new dentures & I love them!!! I've been a lot of places & been let down every time. But he assured me I would be satisfied & boy was he right! Price wasn't half bad either.

This place doesn't return phone calls or even answer the phones calls or return messages. I call this very unprofessional facility in an old house turn into a dentist office in Covington Ga. They want you to get the services they want you to have, not what you are asking for or prefer you to get expensive services you do not need. My insurance plan refers them I going gave change insurance plans if they deal with business like this . Please do not waste your time. Try calling them to see if any answers too. I give this business a 1-D for displeased .

Came in to the location in Snellville. Should have knew when I kept passing the place that it was going to be horrible. Went inside it was old looking, holes in walls and ceiling look like it had mold. The list can go on and on. They called me to go back mind you this is not my first time at the dentist so I know what all you have to do to get a X-ray. She told me to take my ear rings and nose ring out. Never have I ever was told that. As far as equipment looks old, nasty, and dirty. I couldn’t help but to keep looking around the place. The X-ray jacket was ripped and they just tapped it up with clear tape. Dr. Blount passes by coughing all over his self and in his hand. Couple mins later he walks in VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Looks in my mouth handling my mouth very rough and starts to stick my gums. They started bleeding and he was like ewww you need to floss more and you have cavities. Then he proceeds to stay let’s see if you can get them done today. NOOOOOO he is money hungry. Told me… my insurance wasn’t covering nothing which is a lie. To sum it up he don’t know what he is doing. They didn’t show me know X-ray of my teeth. Thank God I didn’t get a cleaning from this place!! They said I had to make a appointment for a deep cleaning instead. Told them sorry I’m not making anything and walked out. Sad excuse for a dentist. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!!

I went to my first visit today at the Snellville office. I had to walk out before xrays done. There was actually organisms growing on top of instruments. Looked like tooth pieces or gum segments (not the type of gum you buy and chew.) I called Cigna to let them know. my next call to the health department or whoever regulates that filthy place.

My experience with Dr. Blout was perfect? They were professional, and did everthing to make me feel at at ease.

I had a root canal years ago and within a few months my crown fell out as I was eating and I swallowed it. I went back to his office and he refused to re treat me and wanted to charge me again, I took this bum to court and I didn't get any results because I had no attorney. now years later I've spent thousands of dollars on implants due to his horrible work . I don't recommend my dog go here. I cant believe he is still in practice, you cant keep up with his office because he is always moving, hmmm I wonder why?!??!?!

The staff is nice and the office atmosphere is pleasant. Dr. Blount appears to be professional and easy going. When working in my mouth, the experience was quite painful and I was not even given gauze for the bleeding in my mouth. I was not prepped as to what to expect beforehand. I would not wish that pain on my worst enemy.
