Very conventional doctor who has ZERO knowledge of clinical trials & combination therapies. He just goes with traditional medicines and if they don’t work; he is very eager to suggest hospice as next step. In general a very pessimist and negative doctor who (for his experience in years) is not knowledgeable. If your diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma or any gastrointestinal cancer; my sincere advise is to Please Avoid him. He will make you miserable by giving long treatment breaks; so that the chemo fails and he can start next chemo; with the purpose of adding in your records that you tried all chemos and nothing worked and thus should goto palliative or hospice. He gets bored of his patients who don’t respond well on first line of therapy and absolutely hates if anyone tries for 2nd opinion or trials.
