Dr. Maxwell graduated from the Medical College of Georgia Dental School and received the Excellence in Scholarship Award which is given to the student with the highest scholastic standing. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in pharmacy. During his pharmacy career, he experienced a sincere desire and commitment to be more involved in the health care and well being of the residents of South Georgia. When Dr, Maxwell began his new studies in dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia, he quickly discovered that his true passion for dentistry was matched by his desire to perfect his knowledge and skills so that he could provide the best care for his dental patients.
He began his family dental practice in Bainbridge to provide dental services for children and adults. Dr. Maxwell frequently attends continuing education classes and seminars to assure that his patients …receive the latest advances in dental care. Dr. Maxwell is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Maxwell's office is involved in helping to educate our area elementary school children on personal dental hygiene during Children’s National Dental Health Month and we have been involved in giving instruction on the benefits of pursuing a dental career during Career Day.
Dr. Maxwell and his wife, Kathy, have two children. Dr. Maxwell enjoys football games, horseback riding and time spent on the family farm.
