Dr. Jimmy Dean Swanson, MD

Has TKR in 2014 then another procedure in 2016 still chronic pain. I am allergic to all metals so he put in a ceramic knee. I never knew I had a titanium plate in my knee until last year 2019 or the plate. Had testing done for Titanium allergy and can up positive. Now nothing they can do because of several surgery's and need to live with it? have been having still chronic pain and other problems.

I've been a patient of Jim Swanson since 2007. He performed a double knee replacements in Oct 2012. Sadly, 8 months later, due to MRSA he had to remove my right knee. During this time he explained everything, in layman's terms, as to treatment. After the prescribed treatment time he put in a new right knee. I have to say he is a congenial gentleman and proud to have him as my surgeon. Now I have to admit we tended to razz each other as he is from Kansas and an Army Veteran. I am from Nebraska and an Air Force Veteran. We are both retirees from our respective branches. If you don't know of the KS/NE rivalries start reading.

My husband and I always want Dr.Swanson. This is a doctor that knows what he is doing. We have had hip and knee surgery by him. Both well done. We trust Dr. Swanson and recommend him to all.
