Dr.
Jim Wang was originally
from Culver City, California. He graduated in the the top
5% of his class at Venice High School in Los Angeles. Afterwards,
he graduated from UC Berkeley with Honors and a degree in
Molecular Cell Biology. He worked a couple of years for NASA
Ames Research Center assisting in the development of the CTAS
Air Traffic Controller project. However his passion to help
those in need lead him to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr.
Jim obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the
UCLA School of Dentistry - one of the top dental schools in
the United States.
It
is here at UCLA School of Dentistry that Dr. Jim met and fell
in love with his wife, Dr. Melanie. After graduation, they
both moved to Saint Louis, MO so that Dr. Melanie could complete
her orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University. Upon
completion of her residency, they realized how much they missed
California. They decided to settle in San Diego to raise their
family. Today, Dr. Jim is a proud …father of his 2 year old
son, Tyler Wang.
