Jinette Grullon, MSPAS, RPA-C, has been a Physician Assistant for more than 21 years and has over 26 years of experience in healthcare. Her clinical background spans Interventional Pulmonology, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Urology, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. For the past 7 years, she has practiced in Interventional Pulmonology at Westchester Medical Center, where she works alongside Interventional Pulmonary physicians who perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures. These include curvilinear and radial endobronchial ultrasound and robotic navigational bronchoscopy, flexible and rigid bronchoscopy with airway stenting with metallic, silicone or hybrid stents, as well as LASER therapy, electrocautery, Argon plasma coagulation, cryotherapy, and endobronchial valves procedures. She also provides accessibility via virtual care to adult and geriatric patients throughout New York State. Jinette began her …healthcare as a Medical Assistant and Ophthalmic Technician. She graduated from the College of Mt. Saint Vincent in 2002 with a Bachelor degree of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She subsequently earned a Bachelor degree of Science in Health Professions, and graduated in 2005 from Mercy College with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She has maintained certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 2005.In addition to her clinical practice, Jinette has more than 8 years' experience in Physician Assistant education and academia. She has served as Clinical Assistant Professor/Full-time Faculty at Mercy College, followed by Clinical Associate Professor/Full- time Faculty at Pace University, with academic work including teaching, curriculum development, admissions, accreditation, student mentorship, and program administration. Among her community service experiences, she has participated as volunteer in the Mercy College Mobile Health Vehicle alongside PA students to provide health screening, education, referrals and preventative care to underserved communities.
