Dr. Jinny Jiajie Lu, MD

Dr. Lu is an excellent vascular surgeon and we are genuinely pleased with her care. She is attentive, thorough, and takes a proactive approach — not just addressing what is happening in the moment, but thoughtfully anticipating and working to prevent future complications. As a physician, she has earned our trust and we are grateful for her expertise. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for her front office staff. On a recent visit, I brought my elderly father — who uses a wheelchair — for a follow-up with Dr. Lu, after which an ultrasound had been suggested by her and confirmed. I felt comfortable returning to work after his appointment, trusting he was in good hands. Instead, my father was left sitting alone in an exam room for over 90 minutes with no communication, no updates, and no one checking on him. Because he is in a wheelchair, he had no way to go to the front desk to ask what was happening. When the situation was finally addressed, the technician Eric indicated he had… been unaware my father was waiting for an ultrasound — a clear breakdown in internal communication between the front desk staff (Amber and Julie) and clinical staff. This is completely unacceptable. Elderly and mobility-impaired patients deserve attentive, compassionate care from every member of a medical team — not just the physician. We will continue seeing Dr. Lu because of her exceptional clinical care, but I strongly urge the practice to address how vulnerable patients are communicated about and cared for between appointments. No patient — especially one who cannot advocate for themselves at the front desk — should ever be forgotten in a room.
