Dr. Jinsong Zhang, MD

I met with a PA to discuss my yearly check up. It took less than 10 minutes. The doctor charged my insurance $350.00. It caused me an extra $89.00. I have never been charged for a follow up for $350.00. When I inquired about the charge, I was sent back and forth from the doctors office to their accountants. I was never told why I was being charged for a level four visit for a follow up. I paid the bill, and now, I am in the process of looking for a new doctor.

Hi, this is Dr Zhang, I care about my reputation, and would like to have a comment on a review regarding a "strange stuff" which I think is called PodiaPN, all the necessary info can be found on the internet. I am sorry that we didn't make sure that patient understand what we are trying to do. This product is activated group of vitaminBs that help to prevent cardiovascular diseases and preserve kidney functions. It is in the class of medical food so that we can store some and sell to patient in the clinic. We would never say patient can only by from us. we always give patient the option to get a prescription of it. Sorry for the confusion! We would continue to do our best to provide patient the best care we can in a timely manner. However, since we do accept walkin visit for patients' convenience, and my nurse practitioners and I always want to spent quality time with our patients, but this may delay some patient's visit. I hope people may understand and I would apologize to those… patients who experienced longer waiting time! We will do our best to improve our service to our patients. Thanks for reading!

He tries to sell strange stuff to me after the exam. I'm not sure it's a drug or a supplement. I ask him if I can buy it somewhere else. He says no. I can only buy it from him. I say no too.

I have been with Dr Zhang for several year. From last year, I started noticing the service going downhill. Dr. Zhang was in a rush during my last annual check. Recently I went in for a lingering cough. I was given medication and sent off without any physical exam, not even a stethoscope to listen to my lung. I am not going back.

This is my trusted family doctor for so many reasons. Unlike other family doctors I've been to, this doctor actually spends time to explain and answer any questions you have. Extremely professional with skilled bedside manner. Great staff who is always there to help as well!
