Dr. Jinyi Bae

Jinyi’s approach to patient care is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. She believes healing begins with listening: understanding each patient’s story, strengths, and challenges in the context of their environment and values. She aims to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel supported and empowered to take an active role in their mental wellness. Jinyi integrates psychopharmacology with supportive and cognitive-behavioral strategies, encouraging awareness of how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. She also emphasizes education, self-compassion, and sustainable lifestyle practices such as sleep hygiene, nutrition, and movement as key parts of recovery. Jinyi aims to build rapport quickly with clear communication, and a calm, practical approach to complex clinical situations. She enjoys helping people reconnect with themselves, build confidence, and find practical ways to feel better — not just through medication, but through …self-awareness, movement, and balance. Outside of work, Jinyi stays grounded by taking long walks, working with horses, and spending time outdoors. She’s a big believer in finding joy in the little things — good food, laughter, and time with friends and family.
