Dr. Joan Bourne is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and more than a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and young adults. Drawing on her early career as a Licensed Master Social Worker and her clinical leadership at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Dr. Bourne pairs deep psychological insight with evidence-based medication management to deliver care that is trauma-informed, collaborative, and downright human.At Wonderland Behavioral and Mental Health, she provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy—both virtually and in person—to help patients navigate ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and eating-disorder recovery.
