I was told to call to talk about my blood work when I got it. She never returned my call. I was taken in right away, but waited at least 20 minutes for he to com in for the exam. But I did like her very much, though, and didn't feel rushed whatsoever.

I went to Dr. Gopin several times, and have become increasingly aware of her horrible bedside manner and lack of compassion. However, the last appointment left me in tears, and I will NEVER return to that practice. When asking me the generic medical/family history questions, she told me I wasn't being honest about my claim to live a smoke free, alcohol free, and abstinent lifestyle (I was 20 years old at the time). When I repeated myself, she retorted with "Well, that isn't much of a life." I don't care if she agrees with my decisions in life that are not harming my health, but I do care that a "doctor" had the audacity to tell me I was lying and that she is so immature and judgmental towards a patient. I would not even recommend her to my worst enemy, and I hope this review serves as a strong warning to anyone considering her as a potential PCP.

I waited in the office for about an hour and fifteen minutes. What I presume was due to the obvious fact that they were running behind, Dr. Gopin seemed a bit rushed. She dismissed several of my concerns and even forgot to follow-up on something. However, the nurse, Brenda I believe her name was, was excellent and called me soon after to follow-up on what Dr. Gopin had forgotten.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Gopin for years now. We always choose her over other doctors because she genuinely seems to care and goes the extra step. We travel to her when needed because we are not able to find another doctor that even compares to her! Good doctors are hard to find and great doctors seem to be a very small breed!
