Dr. Joan Elaine Larrabee, MD

AWEFUL Dr. avoid Dr. Joan Larrabee at all costs if you are looking for an endocrinologist. Poor bedside manner, poor people skills, always a long wait to see the physician at teh Joslin Clinic. I really really wish I had good things to say about Joslin Clinic and Dr. Larrabee. Unfortunately she is a terrible endocrinologist in an even worse clinical setting. Joslin has a lot to improve with their patient care. No followups for physicians or support staff, consistently long waits on the telephone when you dial in or request help. I cannot recommend Dr. Larrabee or Joslin.

Dr Larrabee is a very intelligent, well-studied doctor. She definitely seems to have the science end of her work nailed. She lacks a personal touch and warmth however. She has also never followed up with me after any of my appointments.
