Dr. Joan Lynch

Dr. Joan Lynch, MD is a psychiatrist who provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adults 18+ experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. She emphasizes that seeking help often reflects a desire to increase emotional capacity and lead a more fulfilling, emotionally satisfying life. Treatment begins with a thorough assessment followed by individualized recommendations that draw on contemporary psychoanalytic and psychological theory and, when appropriate, evidence-informed psychopharmacology.

Dr. Lynch has extensive training in psychodynamic psychiatry and psychopharmacology and has worked extensively with adults and young adults. She adopts a collaborative approach, helping patients understand their emotions, improve relationships, develop effective coping strategies, and pursue meaningful life goals.
