Dr. Joan Louise Trowbridge, MD

Dr. Trowbridge put me on Lipitor and clonidine for cholesterol and blood pressure. I thought I was going to die by being on both. She said I need to keep taking them no matter what. I went up another doctor for a second opinion and he took be off both. New doctor said my cholesterol was so low and never should of been on Lipitor. He said the clonidine was unnecessary as well. I also went to Dr. Trowbridge for a injured knee. She decided to order blood test labs for a knee injury. She always ordered labs for no reason. Stay away from her. Stay far away.

Pushes unneeded drugs to make dependent. Made herself my primary and then disappeared after she destroyed my health for profit.

My mother in law is a patient of Dr. Trowbridge at Richfield Medical Group. She has been her Dr. for approximately 1 1/2 years. Recently my MIL has failed and should no longer be living at home alone. Dr. Trowbridge really dropped the ball several times stating that her signing an "Activated POA" is not in her capabilities. She also claimed that our MIL could not go to an assisted living facility, but need "Full on skilled medical care." One could only begin to wonder why, HER DR. who claims she should not be living alone, let alone in an Assisted Living Facility, would not activate her POA. Recently my MIL also visited Dr. Trowbridge for SEVERE wax build up in her ears that has been an issue for a long time. Not sure how she missed it. My husband AGAIN asked her to help him to keep his mother safe by signing the POA. She said again, It's not in my capacity to do so.

This Dr. has no regard for bedside manner. Treats you like a drug addict and messes up your meds. Ask you to come in all the time for the same thing.

Dr.Trowbridge not only has the best bedside manner, but is very knowledgeabl& always kept me up to date with any tests I needed. She also gave me immediate results to those tests. She took the time to ask me how I was...not just physically, but mentally. She is the BEST Dr. I have EVER HAD! :)
